Why should you learn Gurmukhi or Devanagari ?

 Learning Gurmukhi or Devanagari Plan:

Learning Gurmukhi or Devanagari is essential. It removes the limitation of learning on the internet, and with me. I have, and I prefer creating all upper intermediate notes only in Gurmukhi or Devanagari. We can make an estimated 6-month plan to learn it, taking a class weekly and spending 10-15 minutes per class. Please think it through yourself, not the nonsense on the internet from XYZ, about whether learning is important or not. I am not forcing you to learn it, but making you think.

Benefits:

  1. You can read preferred and interesting content, books, comics, jokes, news, songs, etc

  2. There will be no limit

  3. When you visit Punjab / India, you can read the signboards and others.

  4. You are young, and it will go with your life.

  5. I can send you unlimited content, charts and recommendations.

  6. Think more about its benefits.

Myths and illusions:

  1. I will not have enough speaking time.

  2. It is useless and unnecessary.

  3. Nobody learn it

  4. I can be fluent without it.

Note: You can also learn it yourself on the internet.

Let me know what you think.

What should avoid eating and drinking In India?

 Hindi/Punjabi Programme:

What should avoid eating and drinking In India?

If you are visiting india first time then take these precautions strictly and follow all

  1. Buying 5-10 liters is recommended. Always bottled water.

    1. Even if the water is R/O, seen in AirBnB’s and private homes, I use bottled water. 5 Star hotels do have good filtration, so oral hygiene is “OK” but I still prefer bottled.

    2. Take precautions in showers, avoid water in your mouth (in general, even with a 5 star hotel). This is an easy way to take in bacteria.

    3. Always have water with you. Purchase from a trusted source IE C-store or grocery, not roadside dhabas. www.hindi-punjabi.com

    4. Avoid ice unless in high end restaurants or hotels which cater to a traveling audience

    5. Take mind of Indian drinks made with tap water IE lassi. Specifically order made with bottled water

  2. Always eat cooked food

    1. First time in India, avoid street food. It’s so tempting, not worth the risk or after effects

    2. Dhabas are great! Just be sure the food is hot, freshly made

    3. I mostly avoid meat when in India, personal preference. Fish is OK. I will eat meat in a 5 star restaurant or hotel

    4. Raw veggies and salad are best to avoid unless at a high end restaurant or hotel which caters to traveling audiences OR if you purchase in the bazaar and prepare at AirBnB, where you are washing/cutting under your sanitary direction. This includes raw fruits.

    5. Milk based products- raita, curd, doodh, and desserts like ras malai, best only in trusted restaurants/hotels. Many coolers are for show only, not actually working. But one doesn't know until it’s been ingested.

    6. Follow your gut…if upset, give it some time to relax. Switch to packaged crackers or snacks for a day to see if it’s a single meal that upset it or if you caught a parasite.

  3. Bring an antibiotic, just in case

    1. Ask your doctor for their recommendation: used to be Cipro, now Zithromax is preferred suggestion

  4. Have your shots

    1. Tetanus  https://hindi-punjabi.com/hindi-punjabi-programme/

    2. Any others recommended by your doctor
